Aaron Avelar, Managing Partner of Avelar Corp, represents the hands-on expertise and integrity that define the firm’s approach. His experience in construction began early working alongside his father, Richard Avelar, where he received no preferential treatment and learned the business from the ground up.
As a teenager, Aaron tackled some of the most demanding and least desired tasks on job sites, from loading drywall and plywood to performing the precise mathematical work required for framing stair stringers, hips, and valleys. This blend of physical labor and analytical skill laid the foundation for the balanced, evidence-based perspective he brings to every investigation.
Today, mediators, special masters, and insurance claims adjusters respect Aaron’s ability to ground his opinions in quantifiable data. Including field observations, destructive testing, and plan analysis supported by firsthand construction experience.
After earning his Bachelor of Science from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, Aaron began his career in the bioscience and commercial construction industries before returning to join his father at Reconstruction Services. There, he managed large-scale reconstruction and repair projects for condominiums, apartments, and homes further strengthening his command of both construction practices and forensic evaluation.
With decades of combined field, analytical, and leadership experience, Aaron Avelar continues to guide Avelar Corp with the same principles that have defined the Avelar name for generations: honesty, precision, and results backed by real-world expertise.
